Almost Monthly Newsletter to Inspire customers
This can't be right, it's only been about a month since the last "Almost Monthly" newsletter.
It's a brief update this month on a couple of things happening here at Inspire.
By the end of June we will have completed our fibre build of Mt Stewart Rd, Ngaio Rd, Lees Rd, Sandon Rd, Cemetery Rd, and we are now moving our contractors onto expanding our Hiwinui Network down to towards Ashhurst and also along Colyton Road to Feilding, as well as some of Taonui Rd and Reids line, you can see a map of our planed build at https://inspire.net.nz/colyton . If you are an Inspire or a Rural Wireless customer on this build, we will be in contact about moving you over to our fibre network when it is ready. Please share with neighbours who might not be, to fill in the form on our website, so we know to connect them while we are in the area.
Early in April Inspire Net completed the purchase of Rural Wireless Limited, a local wireless broadband provider. We have been assessing that network, and are now planning to merge it into our main wireless network.
During the rest of this year, we will be upgrading all the legacy equipment on the Rural Wireless towers, and shuffling both the Rural Wireless and Inspire customers around onto the best tower for the best service.
As part of this work, we are increasing the traffic caps on our Wireless network for our customers.

Great news for Inspire Wireless customers – you've already been seamlessly transitioned to our new data plans, with no changes to pricing!
If you are a Rural Wireless customer, we will move you onto the Inspire plan of your choice when we change the equipment on your house.
We're also introducing a new enhancement for our wireless product, called " Speed BOOST," which can elevate your speed to 50/10 Mbps (25/5 Mbps on our standard wireless plans) for just an extra $15 per month. You can request “Speed BOOST" through our helpdesk or when signing up for a new connection on our website.
Please be aware:
Requests for “Speed BOOST” must undergo approval from our network team, as its availability hinges on factors like wireless tower conditions and customer capacity levels. If unable to fulfil your request immediately, we'll take note and work to enhance our network in your area to offer this service in the near future.
